Today was a good day for me. I’m not just a nerd, but I also play a few sports, including Airsoft, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Paintball *heh, maybe more than a few*. Anyway, today I went paintballing. I was originally turned on to the sport by some friends at school, and I’ve liked it ever since. I’ve never spent too much on it, but I have some nice gear. Here’s a summary: *click the images to enlarge*
My marker is an Icon L.E.D. It’s fairly reliable and cheap. It’s electronic, and can fire 12 BPS (balls per second).

I added a Whisper barrel to my gun to increase accuracy. It’s special because of the way it releases the CO2 from the barrel.

Finally, to clean it all up, some gloves to cover the hands.

Some people may not have noticed, especially if you have a Broadband internet, but Caffeinated Macs could at times be slow to load. This is due to a lot of nice images I have in it, which I would not remove. But, I did fix a few things. Here’s a list:
* I deleted CSS for a background image header
* I cleaned up repeating CSS image code
* Numerous other changes
This, if anyone has noticed already will and has increased loading time drastically. Enjoy all!

Trillian is a multi-protocal instant messenger, and possible the best for Windows, has some interesting features following the along awaited Trillian 3.0. “Astra”, is it is nick named, will, as they say, “change” the world of IM. Featuring a major core overhaul, titled IMCore, written in C++ and able to cross compile on ANY system, a Web IM feature, and file transfer overhaul. But this post is going to focus on it’s Web IM feature. Today, Meebo is the only decent web instant messenger. It uses the libgaim core, and its free for anyone. The downside of Trillian, and I really dislike Cerulean Studios for it, Trillian Pro costs money. They have a free version, but most of the time they do not pack the best features within it, and I assume the same for the Web IM feature. Honestly, all this talk about it being the Meebo killer is insane, since there’s a 90% chance Cerulean will charge for it. Note to demote anyone from buying this great software.
