My View on the hacks at Green my Apple

As many of you know, Greenpeace and other’s have recently started to pick on Apple, now that there a fairly large and wealthy company. Now, sites like Green My Apple and other blemishes on the face of the internet are really starting to get annoying. They have all these nice, fancy sites, and no real statistics to back up there false-until-proven-otherwise claims. In my opinion, these hippy fools need wipe their noses and start attacking the real companies behind this pollution, like HP and Dell. *I mean come on, in all those pictures you see like 2 or 3 Apple products, and millions of other companies’ materials.* I hope Apple crushes them with there superior knowledge. And people wonder why there are no Greens in Congress….
Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

You are taking that the wrong way. Greenpeace is not attacking Apple, per se, but agressively suggesting that Apple change their ways. The reason that Greenpeace has chosen Apple is that they have a smaller computer share, and is therefore a better and appropriate target that a non-profit could choose.

I’m a huge Mac fan, but I think Greenpeace (and there’s other groups involved in this as well) have a point. Apple’s BETTER at almost everything — usability, style, innovation — they ought to be able to make products that don’t end up poisoning Chinese kids when we throw them away. And because WinDoze and the rest of the industry constantly rip off Apple’s ideas, it’s probably a good place to focus if you want to change the whole industry.
Besides, I wear my Mac as a badge of honor: I want to keep doing so!
P.S. Nice, Fancy Site? I think greenmyapple.org is pretty plain, actually. And they actually do have some stats to back up their claims, though they are pretty hard to find:
